'HARRY POTTER' STARS REMEMBER MICHAEL JACKSON

Tried-and-true 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' trio Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson found drier ground at the New York City premiere of their new movie, and they talked about Michael Jackson's memory to ET.
"There's a generation of people for whom his music marked a moment in their lives, presumably," says Daniel. "He provided … happiness for many people around the world."
"For me, it hasn't really sunk in that he's really gone," says Rupert. "He's such an icon and it doesn't really seem real."
"He was a magnificent figure of the century," says Sir Michael Gambon, aka Dumbledore. "He was so young, and it's terrible."
"I think it's really sad what happened," says Emma. "I had tickets to his last performance."
In what could be the darkest, scariest and most exciting 'Potter' movie yet, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' finds the specter of the evil Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) hanging over Harry (Radcliffe) and the students of Hogwarts as Dumbledore (Gambon) sets out to prepare our hero for the final battle.
"Previously [Harry's] always had a student-teacher relationship with Dumbledore," explains Daniel. "This year it's turned into a relationship of a soldier with his commanding officer. It's a big difference from last year."
Directed by David Yates ('Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'), the film also stars 'Potter' perennials Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane, Dame Maggie Smith, David Thewlis and Helena Bonham Carter. The film is in theaters everywhere July 15.

Jennifer Aniston Had My Back at Oscars

No wonder Jennifer Aniston received so much affection from John Mayer on Oscar night.

It turns out that while the singer was happy to provide "moral support" to his girl at the Academy Awards, he was also "very, very nervous" about attending.
"It's not my world, the Oscar thing," Mayer told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show Wednesday. "But [Jen] was so sweet to me that night, because you can go from a Grammy winner to a water boy when you walk into the Kodak Theatre on Oscar night." He added, "While it was really, really fun, the whole thing is very odd to me."
"I basically stepped into the picture frame of Hollywood," he explained. "And you have to really be with someone you know has your back in that situation, and she did, and it was really great."
As for why the normally low-key couple chose such a high-profile event to go so public with their relationship, John told Ryan, "At some point, you feel comfortable and say this is the choice I want to make. I think a year is a pretty good period of time with which to say, yeah, let's go have a really good time at the Oscars."

Memorial day BBQ

Memorial day BBQ

I've always liked the demotivational posters from despair.com a lot more than those inane motivational ones. And this one obviously hits close to home.So what do our neighbors bring with them when we invite them for a BBQ? Yup.Do my friends know me or what? Of course, my favourite is probably the one that says something like "The point of your life may be just to act as a warning to others", but that one doesn't have penguins. The downside to actually finally having the physical thing, of course, is that I'm not much for hanging things up. So it will probably end up propped up in my office somewhere, adding to the general messiness.
